Why have I never bothered to try this near-ubiquitous bottling? Not quite as delicious as the Vaucluse they pick from Durban, but a really good value for a weeknight table red. Very classic grenache in cement character. Gimme.

#tbt one of the Adventures Club picks for September. Really nice and smooth blend, think I need to stockpile some... ! tasting notes mention soulful and also black olives, which the bottle still smells like.

Jammy and light with mainly red fruit and overripe finish. One of the lower tier Kermit wines but overall decent.

As with most wines, better the 2nd day....enjoyed with hummus, salad, &, pizza, chilled for 5 minutes before serving. Perfect.

I wanted to try a Kermit Lynch wine after reading Marissa Ross. I find this very good – – not so fruity as that Cooper and thief red blend, which is good for me. A little dry, a little acidic, a little after-finish which I like.
