So closed but after a day in decanter opened up to dried red fruit, orange peel and amaro aromatics. Fine, tight structure. Give it 5 more years to settle down.

The smallest bit of taint mars what would like a beautiful cherry nuanced stunner. I can tell this should be a stunning Rosso but I can't get past this taint.

Such a delightful paradox; fruity, easy slippery flavours underpinned w classic Sangiovese tannins, med weight, even long finish. Such a deceptive and satisfying wine. Yum!

Traditional Brunello at it's best. Pure cherry, violets and red earth. Lots of fine tannins.

While this never was great, it actually did not roll off even after a week open. It was closed and uninteresting but not “off” upon opening. By one week later it had some fruit expression without dominant tannin.

I liked it quite a bit because the fruit held up ok, and the body was full. The age came through. I’ll let Eli comment for himself as he had thoughts.
