No idea if this has merlot as Delectable States, but I might doubt it based on color alone. This is a very classic pale, translucent ruby. Nose is tart cranberry, crushed aromatic herbs as oregano and a touch of soil. Palate is airily textured, light-medium bodied with the refreshing, bracing, fine grained tannins that seem to mostly come from 'entry level' old world reds. Utterly charming or, for the younger crowd, crushable

Thw best Rosso in the room, floral and pungent with soft fruit and depth. Fun and sly.

Absolutely amazing! From start to finish this is the one. Light, yet full bodied in a way that perfectly complements a meal. Sublime!

Had the 2021 in February of 2024. Enjoyed this one. First sip was an “oh no” but with some time in the glass really settled in. Dry, medium body with a hint of cranberry like tartness up front. Settled into some smooth cherry overtones. Paired really well with pizza from a local Italian restaurant. Not as well with the Greek salad but wouldn’t hesitate to get another bottle.

Totally enjoyable red blend. Paired with saffron risotto and sauna sage and peppers. Lighter color and body but followed with hints of currant, cherry and very smooth tannins. Canaiolo is a new grape for me but I am guessing it made up a small percentage of this red blend. Was a little drier than I expected but still tasty. Would buy again.
