Crazy extracted--almost black. Lots of heat on nose, cooked currant/black plum, sun dried tomato, scorched gravelly earth. Deeply concentrated black fruit core, burnt chocolate, tannins much like oversteeped black tea. Awkward & clunky.

Blackberry, raspberry, currant, pepper, oak and hints of eucalyptus & vanilla. Good structure and quite tannic.

A perfectly acceptable, but not terribly exciting right bank BDX- style blend from Tuscany. Good wine, but not very distinctive.
