This might be one of the biggest values in dry white wine right now. This hits all the right spots. Delicious.

Beautiful wine with strong floral, lemon, peach and subtle savory characteristics. Ample weight and juicy fruit in the mid palate, finishing with pith and mineral quality. Remarkable finesse, complexity and concentration of fruit for an entry level wine. Thank you Marc De Grazia. Recommended!

The best bottle of carricante I have yet had. Sleek and lean, with the barest tinge of waxiness. Lemon curd, orange blossom water, wild fennel, California bay laurel. Brilliant acidity, but the soul of this wine remains Mediterranean. Great persistence. If Etna rosso is the burgundy/Barolo of the South, then this is the Pfalz Riesling of the South.

This wine has gotten way better in the 12-13-14 window. It's delicate and I want to say it's Riesling like, but it's really not. The bones of the wine are Mediterranean, and it speaks of a warm, sunny place, but with a grace that few mainland Italian whites achieve

2017 brings tremendous intensity. Love the push-pull between flesh and minerality, fruit and savor.

From one of Sicily's top producers. Give me minerality or give me death.

Still a lovely bottle of wine, but strikes as having lost some intensity. Still this is all about the stone fruits, with a creamy richness. Nice, but drink up now...
