This is a young but great Barolo. With air, the nose shows beautiful, intense cherry fruit, minerally gravel, licorice, and yes, tar and faded roses. Damn. Really good depth of flavor, nice acidity, lots of fine-grained tannin. Maybe not a 20 year wine but this will get even better over the next several years.

Excellent traditional style Barolo. Firm, grippy tannins still and paired well with chicken parmesan and pasta.

Dense wine, with aromas of leather, tobacco, coffee. The body is full. We would have liked a slightly longer finish.

Smooth cherry, tobacco not too complex decent length. Good fruit and not very tannic/ ready to drink though may be better in few years.Good Barolo for price but not great. $29 WTSO.
