A bit young, and therefore more bitter than I like, but the price is right.

Ruby with aromas of red fruits and herbal notes. On the youthful palate flavors of plum, black cherry and raspberry, a bit rustic with earthy herb notes. Medium acidity and tannins, easy drinking good value wine on a medium finish.

Consider this an update to my previous tasting. Listen, this is very good. Pop and pour baby Brunello. Will probably improve a little over the next 2-3 years, but damn at 17 bucks a bottle, shipped... Really tough to argue with. Value is perhaps in my top 10 over the past few years.

2010 - decent supermarket wine, since I can no longer be bothered to overthink my wines pre-weekend travel. Also, maybe it's sort of a fun game to discover the random Jensen's gem, or, maybe I'm just jaded. All of the above, most likely. This was decent paired with my Cioppini & Lake Arrowhead air. Exhibited lots of tobacco/cohiba aromas, and was easily guzzled. Tasty.

Полный аромат, вяленая вишня, чуть дымно, чуть перечно, аккуратно и приятно. Вкус полный, насыщенный, ягодный. 16/20 (90/100)

It’s a baby Brunello at a fraction of the price. Not as smooth as a true Brunello, of course, but very easy to drink and a bargain in my opinion.
