The name of the estate comes from "Ca' Pazzo", shown on ancient maps. The estate covers an area of 190 hectares, 54 which are vineyards, 4 are olive groves, 87 which are wooded and 45 are to be planted with new vines. Vivid deep Ruby with a berry fruit bouquet and hints of orange zest. On the palate blackberry & cherry flavors, big and powerful, with leather, cacao and pepper spice. Starting to soften nicely, has energetic acidity and muscular tannins, lingering ending with oak finish. Tasting Sample.

Ruby red color to garnet with aging. Hints of soft fruit on the bouquet. Flavors are dry, delicate, persistent. I would pair with roast, grilled meat, game, mature cheese - MIND BLOWING!

2016 vintage - Medium garnet colour. On the nose, black cherries, raspberries, cassis, tobacco and touch of vanilla. Nice medium body with velvety tannins that recede as the wine sits. Cherry candycane, raspberries in cream, blueberries, milk chocolate and a touch of tobacco oakiness. Nice medium long finish with red licorice.Very nice wine, paired with simple homemade pizza, which totally worked.
