Showing youthfully despite 6 years of age. Lots of perfectly ripe cherry (almost reminiscent of a Chianti Classico) on the nose with a slight pink grapefruit rind note. So soft and easy-going on the palate. Great guzzler. I love Rossese. Thanks to my bro for this.

Opens with dusky red fruits, black raspberry, Hungarian tart cherry, and berry liqueur. Bright and tart, but with some herbal notes and a sweetness on the mid palate lending depth, plus a hint of acetone complexity. Amply structured but this drinks more like a white wine, with minimal tannins and a pure joyful drinkability. Elegant and superb.

This was wild. Herbaceous with really lovely acidity.

Anfosso is one of my favorite Rossese producers. This wine is light-bodied, acidic, and herbal. Much like Champagne, Rossese is great with anything but steak. :)

Before completed, this was purple with a brick halo. Something worth a good sniff. Chocolaty leather, tobacco, cedar, raisins, plum. Big, vibrant mouth with a plush texture and firm acid. Ripe strawberry and cherry core, spiced cola and minerals in the periphery.

Flavors in the raspberry spectrum linger for quite a bit.

Ugh. Great. Uncomplicated but interesting, intensely versatile, straightforwardly delicious. Pretty light.

First time trying this varietal. Love this wine. Feels young but doesn't end with a tannin bomb. Nice find @Kevin Wardell
