Robert Talbott Sr., his wife Audrey, and their son Robb moved to Carmel, California, in 1950, where they started a luxury tie company. During silk buying trips & visiting vineyards they became interested in fine wines, do in 1982 along with son Robb, started Talbott. Aromas of berry fruits and cedar notes. On the palate cherry and raspberry flavors with vanilla spice and oak notes. Well integrated, soft tannins on a medium finish ending with earthy mineral tones.

We wanted to try some Pinot Noir from central coast and enjoyed this wine. Deep dark ruby color, hints of rose petal and strawberry, tastes like cherry pie! Paired well with my tuna tacos

Ruby red with aromas of sweet red fruits. The palate shows strawberry and black raspberry with a hints of smoky oak and pungent spices. Nicely balanced fine grain tannins finishing with medium length.

We had the 2017 Vintage on 3/1-2-24. Medium Garnett in color. Black cherry and cinnamon on the bouquet. Black cherry, black raspberry and cardamom on the palate. Some oak and earth as well. Medium bodied. Unmistakable California Pinot Noir. Very good.

We had the 2017 Vintage on 12/8-9/23. A great representative of the Santa Lucia Highlands. This wine comes at you with a bouquet and palate of black cherry, black raspberry and cinnamon. A terrific mouth feel. More dark tones than wines from RRV; however, this is an excellent buy.
