May 18th, 2016Hello new release Tahbilk 2018 Marsanne from Nagambie Lakes in Central Victoria! This Marsanne is so fresh and crisp right now and over the next 10 years it’ll develop lovely honey and toasty characteristics.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
🍇 Marsanne is a white grape variety which is most commonly found in the Rhône region in France. Tahbilk was the first to plant Marsanne in Australia and has vines dating back to 1927.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
The 2018 is a pale yellow, nearly water white colour in the glass (this will deepen with age). On the nose it smells of florals, herbs and citrus. While in the mouths it’s fresh, dry and wonderfully refreshing making it the ultimate aperitif 👌
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
All opinions are based on my own taste buds. Wine is subjective & always evolving, so make sure you drink what you enjoy! #winesample #tcweekdaywine

Starting to develop a little now. Melon, honeysuckle, orange zest, lemon curd and a little waxy. So good for the money.

Dec 18th, 2015This 1997 Cabernet Sauvignon still had some ripe fruit flavours along with complexed structural tannins. A combination of earthy tones of tobacco and spices such as cumin with a hint of capsicum and an underlying anise. A lovely long finish on the back of the palate.
