Had an opportunity to meet joe and try 4 of his natural wines from Oregon and Washington. All were beauties. We brought Home and are enjoying the 2016 blanched noir which is lovely and fun. A bit tart with apples and lemons as well as some pear on the nose. We paired it with veal piccata. Beautiful. I wanted the Grenache but it was sold out.

A delicate and refreshing wine. Vanilla and pear on the nose with a crisp and lightly acidic palate reminiscent of an unoaked Chardonnay with notes of apple. I would have rated higher but the wine had some serious sediment at the bottom of the bottle that required straining.

The first day I wasn't impressed. However, the second day the wine had opened up nicely and was presenting flavor of lemon curd and a hint of apple. There is some body, but overall the wine is light and refreshing.
