Session 1 of Wine Essentials One at the Institute of Culinary Education Center for Wine Studies.

From the Mendoza region of Argentina. A blend of Sémillon, Torrontés and Sauvignon Blanc. Pale yellow color with a light viscosity. Earthy, tropical aromas that are reminiscent of mowed lawn. Also some spiciness on the nose. Lively flavors of concentrated fruit. Nutty and slightly buttery. This is a young wine with some complex flavors.

2018 in 6/21. Hv a btl of the 17 that I'd been sitting on, wanting to wait 3 more yrs for. It was from Cali KL so got excited seeing this '18 at pkvw. Hv been curious about this wine so figured I'd rip into the 18 and keep letting the 17 sit.....Sem, Sb, Trnts. The SB Component had weight depth and a tropical mango-ish note. Still very SB tho the Trnts is clearly present. One could argue gwz I suppose. Excited to TRY to hold off on the 17.
