Soave Classico Garganega

The 2021 Soave Classico wafts up with a wildly fresh bouquet, blending sweet smoke with crushed rocks, pear and lemon oil. It's silky and refined, ripe in style, yet perfectly balanced with lime-tinged orchard fruits and a touch of exotic inner florals toward the close. The 2020 Soave Classico is remarkably pretty, perfumed and refined, with crushed apple and chamomile complemented by dusty florals. It finds a balanced middle ground between succulent ripe fruits and zesty acids, as its silken textures soothe the palate. A flourish of salty minerals and sweet florals seals the deal, as the 2020 tapers off long yet fresh. This is a lovely entry-level Soave. Well done. (Eric Guido, Vinous, April 2022)

Perennial favorite

Another pretty Italian white, this Soave opens with a nose of white flowers, yellow apple, white peach, and sea salt, continues to a palate of apple, melon, granite, tarragon, saltiness, blanched almonds, and ends with a tingly chalkiness and spice redolent of white pepper. Refreshing and thought-provoking it’s an attractive sip!

Pretty Cherry blossom nose, though there's a lack of focus.

This is more like it for Soave Classico ! Wet stone and lemon zest with ripe cantaloupe. The acidity holds a higher RS in check. Delicious

Excellent classic Soave and a great value.

Getting a richer body and more length with less acid as the wine matures.

YUM! Interesting "HERBaceous" notes on the nose. Definitely a stunner.
