Blend of 75% Viura and 25% Sauvignon Blanc from vineyards in Villalba de Rioja, about 4 miles north of Haro. Macerated with skins for about 10 days. Aged for 13 months in French oak barrels and an additional 4 months in concrete tanks. Notes of apricot, beeswax and baking spices. Mediun-bodied, great texture.

Warm gold. Beautiful reductive notes mixed with fresh bread. Palate is med-full and shows Stone fruit, honey, orange rind, and a good lick of oak. Good acidity and super fresh despite its size. Best white Rioja of the trip.
