No stumps nor creeks on the bottle artwork. Color is more golden than some of these NZ SB’s. Pretty in the glass tho. Smells like linseed oil, oat straw tea, and pool toy vinyl. Flavors are dry, crisp and tart. Just a hint funky. Grass (both lawn and the other kind). It’s pretty in line with what I look for from New Zealand Sauv Blanc.

Surprisingly tasty, a good wine for the price. Not quite as crisp as I prefer but still a nice wine.

I wasn't that impressed. Didn't have that strong flavor you usually expect from NZ. But I'd still drink it for $10.

Light and tasty. Subtle herbs with a hint of fruit. Would buy again.

May 8th, 2016Strong lime smell. Almost like a margarita--so Perhaps a little salty too. Smell--There is some kind of woody smell. Not exactly like oak--I'm going with birch? Plum scent too, which is unusual in a white whine. I very much like the scent.
taste-- Semi sweet sharp intake that melts away into a sweet very interesting arrangement then fades to a semi-dry. All Very delicious! It's a wine that grows on you.
