They just do it right. Very delicate with elegant concentration and youthful fruit. Candied cherry with wild brush and a kiss of cinnamon. Evolved beautifully throughout the evening.

This is insane! So much to smell and taste. Explodes open after about 1.5 hours of air. Nose of crushed berries and gravel, flowers, strawberry jam. Palate is so complex. Changes over dinner. Great acidity and this has a decade+ left.

Man, these wines are so expressive and awesome. I had so much fun talking to Ernst. Gotta admire a winemaker that doesn't give in to fashion or follow the herd. Phenomenal Pinot!

Very nice wine from a very small winery. A little bit sour but lots of fruit. Excellent. Too bad price point isn't a little lower.

3 clones. Some Whole Cluster. Very different from most SBC Pinot. Great earth and mineral flavors. Medium minus body. Perfect balance of tannin and acid in finish. Easy to mistake for great Marsannay/ Burgundy.
