Oh man this is Sangiovese at its finest. It’s the Sangiovese for the Burgundy lover. Piercing elegance, finesse and soaring aromatics. Red currants, dried red flowers, spices and hints of licorice with a wonderful texture and mouthfeel. There’s terrific intensity and midpalate depth and a long, vibrant and lifted finish. My new Sangiovese pinnacle 💥

I love how this is showing. Soulful and delicious, worked so well at the table. Sexy, aromatic, and bright acid/tannin. Violets, licorice, tar, pepper, leather, wet tobacco, moss, macerated cherry and plum. The earth is so integrated, layers of pure fruit beneath is all. Nice length, silky texture followed up by charming tannin.

Bright cherry, strawberry, luscious dried fruit and tea. Medium palate and refreshing acidity. Gulpable wine but needs some time to open.
