More complex secondary flavors than fruit. Aromas of violets, cloves and pencil shavings. Plush flavors of chocolate and cassis end in a savory brooding finish. Best of the day.

This has aged very well, but it could probably stand even more time. Super smooth with very light and subdued tannins. Black cherry and dark fruit. A great vintage from a stellar winemaker.
