This is a really nice, prototypical expression of the varietal with cassis and tobacco up front. Some secondary character of sous bois. Tannins are mostly resolved at this point and drinking very fine out of this magnum. Perfectly aged and has more left in the tank.

Wow! Loaded with fruit very supple and approachable with 30-40 minutes breathing. Thanks Michael Endres! Great choice on 2012 Cab tonight . Looked up on the review Gods it is 91+ in Parker. Impressive for 30 $

I read reviews and wouldn’t guess tobacco. I associate tobacco with smoky and i don’t think this is smoky. I do taste fruit and spices. I thought cinnamon finish but allspice may be better description. I been a follower of this for decades.
