A little chlorophyll on the nose, but it’s rounded out by the scent of red raspberries and cocoa. Raspberries on the front, but it’s not in-your-face fruit. Light tannic structure like a typical Burgundy — very drinkable!
I also tasted the 2011 (which was a very cold year) along the 2014, and I’d give the 2011 vintage an 8.0.

A favorite of Oregon,
Smells of freshly crushed petals.
Coming in with zest, pithe, inhaling persimmon, oregano, mint. Exhales of cedar,dried berry blend, acidified cherry. A great winery, has been for many, many years.
Finally! Spring -ish in DC..

Lots of fruit cherry mostly, big and round body, good earth tones so glad we have a case!!

Solid, peppery and deeper than a typical Pinot. Closer to a Syrah but easier drinking on its own.
