Drink now. Wasn’t aged in perfect conditions, but the cork was solid and dense- no Ah-So needed. A little tired, but opened to good candied fig and black tea.

Holly smokes! Left Bank on Spring Mountain. Wonderful stony minerality, integrated fruit and tertiary flavors and tannins. Acidity to keep it going for years.

1998 vintage. Tasted after being open for 30 minutes. Not decanted. Wasn’t the best vintage for valley floor juice but hillside/mountain derived stuff showed decently then. This showed as expected but better than most would have surmised. 07.15.25.
