First time with Spottswoode and a 2000 at that. This was an…experience. First sip, I was convinced it was turned. A totally off nose. But after about 30 mins, it blew off and the wine arrived. From there, all tertiary notes, beautifully integrated. Would love to try a slightly younger bottle as this felt past its prime.

Silky smooth incredible. Wonderful classic Cabernet . Could last cellared another 5-7 years. Great color incredible fruit. Just fabulous. Loved it.

Jan 1st, 2020A real treat. Got it a few years past its prime but still very enjoyable. Held up well. Fruit and acidity in balance and rounded out by soft tannins and lingering baked/stewed fruits.

A lovely sweetness and freshness, resin, rosemary with oil and flowers, some dried herbs, great power, humus, that beauty of the earth. This is phenomenal. What a great bottle!!
