Try it blind and you’ll guess California cab alla j. Lohr. The chemists involved in this feat have done well.

As generic, boring, and unremarkable as a Walmart fruit cake.

Well, they’ve managed to make a Portuguese wine 🍷 taste like a Californian supermarket red. ’15 was marginally better.

Portuguese but new world style. Very full bodied, full fruit, jam, baking spice. Still has nice acidity. Unexpected.

Easy drinking. Not bad for the price. Somewhat fruity, seemed high alcohol.

Very fitting name. Silky and Spicy. Semi-dry. Spices spring up with first sips. Earthy but blend of dried and semi-ripe fruits linger. With a bit of breathing the ripe fruits come out and the smooth silkiness is enhanced
