Quinta de Azevedo Vinho Verde Loureiro
Light and refreshing! Totally what I look for in this style of wine.

Mar 12th, 2019Light petillance and spritz on the palate. Simple, light on body and alcohol and fresh. Appley, pear, salad leaf and mineral.

1 person found it helpfulJun 29th, 2015Light, dry and joyfully effervescent. More yellow colored than average. This Vinho Verde is almost dry Riesling like on its initial attack. Soft petroleum, racy acidity, and driven by its minerality, citrus blossoms, and crisp green apple notes. The finish is clean and packed with Asian pears.

Dec 6th, 2015Good example of Vinho Verde. Perhaps a touch light on fruit intensity but nicely refreshing.

May 17th, 2015Given to me as a present. Slight spritz on pouring. Not sure of the underlying quality, and very slight 'nail varnish' note towards the finish.

Sep 16th, 2013A more complex Vihno Verde compared to the regular and fizzy ones. This 2022 vintage shows a more complex style in which has more lime and tropical notes with a slightly additional weight on the palate with a sensible touch of oak and a very persistent finish. AVB 12% indicates that is above average of this style. Liked it better !
