Good but ready to go as it is oxidizing on the edges. But beautiful and delicate Nebbiolo flavors abound.

Mar 29th, 2020Lovely presence of fruit, great tannins and finishing elegant thanks to fresh and pure acidity. Well done! Pretty cheap too .

Jun 17th, 2018A strong bitter after taste, the 2012 vintage has got a fairly palpable odor of Brett — Band-Aid-like/horsy... tho I’ve always liked Nebbiolo...

Nov 9th, 2017Nice barbaresco intro - lacks some character but very drinkable - powdery tannins with astringent mild leather & cherry finish - better on day 2

Feb 20th, 2015A cool night in July In NYC?! Quick: mix it up and drink a bigger red before it's warm again! Oh, this wine really takes me back to Piedmont. Strange how some wines have the power to do that and others don't. Lots of dense cherry / rooibus and background aromas of vinyl--this is an 08, for sure, and this is infanticide, but there is a heaven sent brightness from the acidity that makes it quite enjoyable already while furiously swirling to coax out the roses from behind the wall of tight cranberry fruit, vinyl and tar. Yum, I say.

Jul 30th, 2014Utility Nebbiolo,.....pale brick red, good amount of tannin structure, dried cherry, licorice, and wet earth. Very hot on the finish. Worse the second day. Went very well with steak au poivre.
