Alto Piemonte for the win!

Fantastic, old school-style Novarese Nebbiolo. Intense gravelly minerality, deep macerated cherry fruit, and a not-quite-baking-spice-but-a-little-like-it note. Mouthfilling earthy Nebbiolo fruit with some soft tannin yet to resolve and firm acids. Long. Love this!

Full and robust with a slight fruity aroma

A nice northern Italian red. A bit more modern in style. A touch hot and a touch too much oak - could use a few more years.

even with a 2 hour decant think this one needs more time in bottle. really rich and powerful, overpowering for me.

Love it. Alto Piemonte. Smooth and luscious, medium+ bodied, rich but mellow tannins. Leather, currants, prune, stewed cherries, dark mushroom, touch of baking spice, some mineral and iron. From Flatiron Wines.

Rich layer of fruit on top of dense texture. Showing great promise and will be interesting with time.
