A brilliant example that’s soaring right now.
Nose presents maraschino cherries. On the palate, the oak is regal and subtle. Deftly balanced with powdery tannins and bright acidity. All the components are integrated. Pure fruit with uncommon sweetness finish what is a polished example. Thank you, Mo for opening this gem.

This is not a pop-n-pour, but in knuckle-head tradition, that’s what I did.
A classic Siro presentation, with hints of burnt oak, fig paste and herbs on the nose. On the palette, you’re greeted with uncommon sweetness for the varietal, followed by ripe tannins that are still not integrated. Finishes with plum jam and acidity that supports the fruit profile - excellent. I’m going to decant this now as it’s begging for air.

Oh my lord...
Stunning with oodles of runway. Nose of truffles and maraschino cherries. Deftly balanced on the palete. Suave and plush mouthfeel. Tannins are still ripe, and make this very approachable now. One of my fave Italian stallions.

Astringent with a big manure note that smoothed out with time.. still with mild-moderate grippy tannins

Opened with wild strawberry, muddled blackberries, and slight salinity then exploded with fresh rosemary and fine-grained tannins. Wonderful aged brunello!

A lovely Brunello alongside some of Bob Dylan's best. Life doesn't get better.... Full bodied wine with true Brunello pedigree - musty, earthy, bold, luscious, black fruit, velvety tannins, long finish. Drinking great now!

Tight on the first night, tannins lighter in the second night. Very herbaceous. Some berry flavors. Some birch bark.

A bit austere now... Stinky cheese aromas.. Subdued berry flavors.. Still with grippy tannins!

Browning rim, mature bouquet of ripe dark fruit and autumnal accents. Soft and carressing, medium to full-bodied. Peak drinking.
