From a 5 Bordeaux grape blend: 81% Cabernet Sauvignon, 12.6% Merlot, 3.6% Cabernet Franc, 2.4% Petit Verdot & 0.4% Malbec, aged 24 months French oak, 84% new, Deep Ruby with aromas of ripe dark fruits, cedar and floral spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, ripe cherry and currants with notes of mushroom, herbs, pepper spice and earthy notes. Fine big sweet soft tannins, long finish ending with cacao, smoky oak, fruit and mineral tang. Very nice, aging well, but time will reward!

Oh how nice it is!!!! Chocolate, dark berries, spice notes, and velvety smooth tannins. Excellent with our home dryage ribeyes (47 days)

I feel very fortunate to have this wine on my birthday. So many of our wine memories include Silver Oak. Wonderful to enjoy a bottle with a hint of age on it.

This Silver Oak has a deep, rich red color almost purple. A robust wine with plenty of berry flavors, licorice and a touch of black pepper with nice tannins.
