From 3L bottle. Wonderfully elegant and supple. Fruit is in great shape with ripe plum particularly coming through. Color and acidity are remarkably stable. It’s perfectly resolved, but showing no signs of tiring soon out of this large format.

From mag. Ripe plush fruit. Plums and damson. A light whiff of tobacco, spearmint. This is in great shape and has a sweet middle. A little simple from midpalate through to the finish.

Amazing MV blend. 60s and 70s. Nose was quite musty but wine showed little bricking and hardly any oxidation on the palette. Wouldn’t guess older than late 90s

1985 Napa Bonny's vineyard double Mag. Big tobacco and green and black olives and fresh ginger with coconut rim aroma. Lovely depth and complexity. Still young. Still a bit tight. Will continue to show beautifully. A brooding but fresh wine. Intense fruit. Great. Still a bit monodimensional and big Cali

13.4% with lots of sediment. Great color and fill. Smells of a Mounds bar. Medium bodied with sweet dried berries. ?
Except for the coconut I never would have guessed Cabernet?

Dark purple color, bouquet of herbs, bark and cedary tobacco. Presents with good acidity in glass. Solid hints of blackberry, cassis and cedar that is rounded on the palate, tannins present but mature providing structure. Finish long but mild,suggesting that despite good acidity that the wine is mature. A very pleasant older cab whose life has been extended through its presentation in a magnum.
