Very well done, probably the best wine I had from China ever, please keep in mind that my experience is limited, well balanced, lots of black fruits, wood, earth, medium to full body, good acidity, well integrated tannins and a long balanced finish. My score 88+, drink to 2023

This Helan Mountain wine impressed me...30% Gernischt with 50/30 Cab to Cab Franc gives me a fairly structured body but the fruit was bit cloudy. Definitely distinctive as I might be able to blind this next time so that's good terroir!

My first Chinese wine. Spicy and herbaceous with a def American influence. The vines grow at about 4000' and are buried in the winter and unearthed in the spring. The varietals are CS, CF and Cab Gernischt. Fascinating. You knew it had to happen. :)
