The 2021 Pinot Noir (Santa Lucia Highlands) is a very pretty wine. Crushed flowers, spice, mint, red cherry fruit and orange peel are nicely lifted. There's good energy here, even if the 2021 feels a bit light, especially in the mid-palate. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, November 2023)

Sipping Fine Wine

Ruby with aromas of red berry fruits and floral spice. On the palate flavors of cherry, raspberry and citrus with notes of oak, spice and forest floor. Fine tannins, good acidity balance, medium+ finish ending with fruit, cedar and mineral character.

"Odedi"

Ruby in color with a wide reddish rim and medium intensity.

Sweet nose of bing cherries, vanilla, earth, licorice, wood, light vegetables, chocolates and black pepper.

Medium bodied and smooth, with medium acidity and nice legs.

Dry on the palate with cherries, blueberries, sweet raspberries, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, earth, herbs, light bitter vegetables, black tea, chocolates and peppercorn.

Medium-plus on the finish with soft tannins and tangy raspberries.

This is a nice Pinot Noir from California. Well balanced with nice complexity, and enjoyable by itself or with food. Fruity with earthy notes, and a little bit of alcohol at the ending.

Could use a couple of years in the bottle to mature, but already drinking really nicely.

This is not my usual style, but I really enjoyed it.

Wine Spectator 89 points.

14.4% alcohol by volume.

Very thin... touch of raspberry. Lots of menthol and tobacco, noticeable abv.

Impossible to find, but if you're lucky. Great example of Santa Lucia Pinot- Big, earthy and dark fruits.

Really amazing Pinot noir!!! Ben and I had a bottle in big sur with dinner at nepenthe- really flavorful and yet light Pinot, would totally buy again if we could find it!

Ripe red cherry, darker berries, a touch of spice box. Medium bodied. Needs about a 2 hour decant really.

This #PinotNoir has incredible balance. Strong berry and purple flower aromas. Palate is smooth with a mid that starts deep with dark fruits and finishes with a lift of bright cherry. Subtle earth and mild delicate tannin. Food worthy for heartier dishes. Opened 2/17/17
