Spicy but with some sweetness. Very good, enjoyed. Bought at Enoteca for ¥6,200. — 5 months ago
The nostrils absorb heaps of stone and chalk while the palate delights in a light, smooth, and crisp taste with notes of lemon citrus. Elegant label and fair price bring hope on a day Mateo leaned into his terrible twos. — 8 months ago
Not too heavy. Not too dry. Subtle flavor. — 9 months ago
9/2024. Good overall flavor. Only a hint of cherry which is fine with me. The ALC 14.5 was a boost. It paired well with the Snow Eye Round Waygu at Hall’s Chophouse. — 3 months ago
Superb and so quintessentially Santa Rita Hills. Open and welcoming nose of sexy, sultry, oozy cherry sap, dark baking spice, moist loam, and dark florals. Deep and rich flavors hit the palate, but without jamminess or excess sweetness. Turns a bit savory in the clingy finish. Almost no tannins apparent. Just enough acids to propel it forward. Very Californian in a very good way. — 8 months ago

Fair amount of oak shows first, then the tangy, cool climate Sonoma Coast fruit, nicely balanced dark fruits, rich without heaviness, long, lingering finish, terrific 25-year-old Pinot Noir!!
This wine was named for Dianna’s and Adam’s (first?) son. My recollection is this was either best barrel(s) or a special parcel of Hirsch Vineyard fruit (I recall that Siduri first made a Hirsch PN in 1995, I think?) Does anyone else know whether my recollections above are correct? — 5 months ago
Wes Hagen, 20 year veteran wine maker at Clos Pepe Vineyard, joined our group and gave us a master class in Santa Barbara pinot noir. We tried 11 PNs from 2004-2010, made by Loring, AP Vin, Sandler, Siduri, and Brewer-Clifton. This 2009 Loring had the meaty flavors that I love in a great US PN. — 9 months ago

Agreed - this is just good, not great. Predictable varietal typicity, decently balanced and well made. — 25 days ago
