This is a great value in a weeknight wine. Nose has a musky humus (not hummus) scent along with pure, ripe dark blackberry juice. Some lilty sandalwood scents too. Full and rich in the mouth, but not jammy, and has a little tang from good acids. Not complex, but really easy to quaff with food.

Nice fruit and a bit of smoke on the nose. Flavors are fresh and juicy with plenty of tannins. Nice tea and mocha flavor to go with the cherry syrup. Very nice foothills Zin.
