Ridge Vineyards

Shenandoah Valley Zinfandel 1977

I was surprised how much life this has. Tasted like the Chinese haw flake candy which is supposedly made from hawthorn fruit. Well balanced and still had enough acidity. — 8 months ago

Villa Toscano

White Barbera

Not your typical sweet white wine. A creamy apricot with a sweet finish. Great to drink very cold and with spicy food. If you're a beginner wine drinker, start here! Great proce and layers of tropical Starburst flavors! — 3 years ago

Outstanding. Hard underripe pineapple tang. 70% P Manseng, 15% each Ries and Vidal B. Curious to try the never release that leaves out the Vidal, because it seems to really bring something here — 3 months ago

McKahn Family Cellars

Shenandoah Valley Grenache 2019

McKahn Family Cellars - 2019 Grenache - WOW! I love Grenache and this is definitely my new favorite!!! this is just about the perfect wine. The nose is blueberry pie fresh out of the oven. The initial palate is loaded with big ripe black and purple fruit and berries. This is so good and complex. Blackberry, boysenberry, plumb, ripe sweet juicy grapes fresh off the vine, and a hint of raspberry. Then comes the earthy tones of graphite and oak. There is a hint of chocolate and spice in the background. The finish is dry and absolutely no sourness anywhere. This is a true gem!!!!!
Fantastic job McKahn family!
