This is the first time I've seen reference to Angela's table on this label. I was overdue to revisit this benchmark Zin. I'm ignorant of'15 vintage conditions, but I would say it is following the trend toward less ripe expressions in CA wine. I missed bit of the flamboyant bramble berry aromas. Excellent structure of food friendly tannin.

A classic Zin that has aged beautifully. Dark ruby color with a touch of brick on the rim. Aromas of red/blue berries with hints of bramble and spices. Ripe (but not jammy) red/blue berry fruit on the pallet with just a hint of oak on the finish. Nicely integrated and well balanced tannins and acidity. Creamy texture. Thank You Ron B!

Definitely can taste the black current and spices. Dry to start and finishes quite nicely.

Sick bitterness. A little bite. Aftertaste of tobacco and dates. Would make a great breakfast cereal.

BIG, jammy, but still has structure. Didn't do as well as we thought it would with barbecue sauce slathered hamburgers.

Pretty solid wine especially given the price ($24). Paired wonderfully with pizza that had spicy sausage

Smooth with nice hint of blackberry. Goes well with a spicy meal (had it with Indian food).
