Medium– acidity, smooth, floral and full. I get strong ripe pear, melon, melon pulp, vanilla bean, lilies, white flowers, oak, apple pie and pannacotta. Smooth on the palate, dry+ with lots of pastry and fruit. Great wine, but I wish for a bit more acidity.

12' Sea Smoke Streamside Chardonnay. Last time I tried this particular bottle...made a note saying WAIT. It hasn't quite been a year.
Light golden in color(slightly darker then a year ago )Medium-ish body. This acidity has settled down since I had this last year(it needed to) quite nicely. Tropical flavors are still pronounced in the wine. Yellow apple, pear, pineapple, nutmeg & vanilla. Secondary flavors are starting to open up. Would enjoy trying this again in 2/3 years.

Feb 26th, 2016You must let this wine open up. A medium to light bodied Chardonnay. The acidity is more towards the middle & back of the palate. Citrus flavors are pronounced in this wine. Yellow Apple & pineapple. Finishing with light nutmeg that splashed across your palate. This wine needs 1 good year to come together.

In a blind tastings of Puligny-Montrachets, this wine would surely embarrass me. A 1er Cru Chardonnay. Exquisite.
