Sadly lacking any wow factor! Looking for some complexity and layers that don't seem to exist. Closed like a true Grand Cru? #seasmoke #botella

Fun and still good but showing it’s age a bit.

A cult wine. Very perfumed nose. The 2014 is good high 14.5%. Not my thing but a good wine. Plums black tea touch bitter very spicy and with a bite. It’s for sure a winner. But while my CA friends where at awe at first they preferred the 2005 Burgundy as the night went on.

Ripe and plummy. A bit of alcohol on the nose. On the palate, a bit raspberry fizz and clacky red fruit. Not a beauty.

Solid. Probably needs food. Big fruit with some forest notes. Like it but don't love it.

Massive cola, eucalyptus and earth notes dominate. Lots of Indian spice on the nose. Tannin is supple but poignant. Finish is a blackberry and tobacco and chocolate flavor that is really enjoyable. Open the wine and don't drink for a minimum of 45 minutes. Needs time to clean itself up. If I rated at time of opening, it would have been in the low 80s.
