Tons of power on this, both acidity and tropical fruit. Great balance with potential for aging. Monster of wine as of now

Had no idea they made a white. Tropical on the nose and lots of acidity.

2013 vintage. Great mineralogy. Searing acidity. Interesting!

Of the '10-'13 that we have sampled from bottle and barrel, I prefer this the most. Very good.

'12 vintage.
Pale straw color for this SB. Green nose on the herbal side, habanero and Serrano pepper but there a resonating guyaba/passion fruit that is quite sexy. I love the tension the acidity brings on the palate and it tightens your tongue and unleashes a vibrancy that is quite unique. I must admit that I have never had such a SB. It's not mineral nor chalky, not opulent or viscous. Barrique, like SE red is absolutely perfectly controlled. It's here, but it's not. A beautiful wine.

Screaming Eagle 2012 Sauvignon Blanc. Very, very nice. Wish I were still getting some of this as I liked it a lot. Worth the price tag? Tough to say. Let's see how it is in about 20 yrs and I'll tell you. :)
