Scott Paul Cellars
Maresh Vineyard Pinot Noir
Ripe red fruits, strong acid create a perfect balance. Definitely some whole cluster in this to give it an old world feel. Northwest killin it

Nose is refined and round with dried strawberry, fermented plum, oak, spice, and more oak and more dates and/or fermented plum. Taste follows the nose, with addition of coke cola, cherry jam, refined acidity, edge is gone and very harmonized. Aftertaste is medium long with lingering flavors. Nice one.

Tastes of the bramble as well. Cran Pom pops, and offers a very long lovely finish. Tart fruit with high acid lingers for a very long time.
A nice wine to enjoy the last of the summer days.

Well balanced. Black cherry, raspberry, mushrooms, and a touch of leather. Hard to beat for $18.

Jul 21st, 2022Not much to add to previous notes. Not bad if a little simple. This bottle showed a touch of co_2 spritz, but that blew off with some air. Maybe slightly better palate density than before, but still...

Mar 2nd, 2021Second bottle of this wine a few months later. Flavors and feelings are similar to the first notes. Pretty nice and refined.
