Funky fun. High sulfur. Barnyard funk 101. Would never know it’s a SavBlanc. This is great stuff. Has to be part of The Trustfall. #doloresoutpost

This is a big wine full of big contradictions. First of all, was not expecting a dark golden, almost orange hue. Had to look it up and was surprised by an SB with intense skin and malo aging. A pungent, sour nose. It’s not at all a turn off, the opposite really. At the front I get a brine, salt water character but that quickly turns into a giant sour apricot with a long lingering finish that transitions into unripe banana and spicy herbs. Medium to full body with loads of puckering acid. A unique and wildly different wine.

Deep gold; medium plus intensity aromas of yellow apple, melon, pineapple, lychee, blossom, custard, cream; developing; dry, medium plus acid, medium minus tannins, medium alcohol, medium plus body, pronounced intensity flavors of yellow apple, apple skin, melon, pineapple, juicy apricot, custard, long finish; excellent

Skin contact SB super weird, citrus, sour apricots almost gelee like mouth feel, might need more, Orange wine for Bumgardner

Huge, savory bitter almond nose, musky green almond palate. Lots happening here.

Hearty white for a cold winters night! Textured tannic stone fruit: apricot, peach, and orange rind. Great structure.

I loved this wine. Fun, wild, and unique - just like Abe. Its a Sauv Blanc like no other. Peach and apricot, in flavor and color. Bright and powerful at 6 years old. We strained and decanted. Perfect match to the cuisine at Faith & Flower (LA,CA,USA). Tuna tartar, risotto(s), jerk chicken. Mmmmm.

I dug the hell outta this. 30 day skin contact Sav Blanc. Side by side with the Czech wine. Had a bit more high toned fruit coming through and a bit sharper acid.
