Halenberg Spätlese Riesling

Delightful matured Spätlese from Tim Fröhlich. Opulent fruit flavours (Baked apple), lots of honey but the round acidity keeps it in balance. Miss a bit of length on the finish.

Simpler than it should be. Missing a kick.

Diced pineapples and green apple with lots of flint and residual sugar. Really delicious.

Pale color. White peach, white stone, and a citrus finish. Less acidity than the 15. Nice though.

Opened up amazingly. Guava, pineapple, white pepper, PEAR, textured, limestone, careful acidity, wonderful richness.

Quite spectacular. Cardamon and white pepper nose then lovely pear 🍐 apricot pits and a hint of yeast and a very tiny tiny bit of Camembert in the glass - together with Rebholz and i guess Keller these are at the moment the best Rieslings money can buy.
