Unfortunately this nebbiolo for me just isn’t enjoyable. I think a langhe nebbiolo should be somewhat ready to go and easy. This was lean, jagged and rough. Tight on the nose and tight tannins.. not my favorite expression! #nebbiolo #langhe #monforte

A beautiful Nebbiolo that’s starting to decline. Soft red fruits and fine, finessed tannin. Sweet cigar box and leather with soft black cherry and licorice. Drink now without decanting.

Lighter body than we expected. Subtle nose. Plum and red fruit on the fore pallet. Soft tannins with occasional hint of cocoa. (Grilled steak, baked potatoes, garden fresh asparagus- Paula’s birthday dinner on the lanai)
