The mid red fruits are candied on the nose with fresh violets and roses. It's glorious, ruby, candied & creamed raspberries, dark & light cherries, strawberries, just a hint of blackberries, plum, fresh perfumed violets & pink/red roses, milk & dark chocolate, cinnamon stick, vanilla, slight herbaceous quality and mid intensity volcanic minerals. She is a lush elegant beauty. Finishes fruit juicy transitioning to dry mid tannins. M+ to H acidity. I coravined a glass not sure if it would be ready but it is and will still improve over the next 5+ years. Interesting...this CA Rhone has a little Burgundian DNA.

Pretty rad. Was way to drunk to remember much more than that.

Smoldering fall leaves, ripe blackberries mineral dust. Extracted and velvety with a smooth finish.

Not super expressive and pretty introverted. Subtle red fruits and spicy Rhone characteristics. I think it needs time to really strut its stuff. Clearly Paso but underwhelming.

2010 vintage. Thinned out somewhat, body-wise, yet still packing a punch. Lots of complexities still in the tasting grasp. 9.20.23.

Grenache is really showing its beauty with age. This wine is in a sweet spot

Wine night with the boys...
There are no flaws in this wine. Drinking great right now.
