Holy fruit bomb! Never EVER would have guessed 2007. This was a palate destroyer with extracted mixed fruits and gripping tannins. This was double decanted and was still so tight. This would be a wine to revising in another 5-7 years. But it was still awesome! Thanks @David From The 504

Notes of saffron, white pepper and spice box on the nose.
On the palete, the wine explodes. Linze torte, boysenberry and camphor fight for your attention. Incredible Rhone varietal

Definitely a solid wine but just not showing very well tonight. You definitely know it's a hot year by the fruit profile. Just a little flat. Opened for hours with tepid development. Maybe in a dumb phase.

Camphor alcoholic nose on pop, totally gone after 2 hour decant, you feel the alcohol a little but it is very approachable and lush, I prefer these wines with some bottle age and this is a 10 year old beauty.

Tremendously expressive nose, with dark fruit and violets prevailing. Silky tannins and well integrated oak. It felt younger (opened June 15).
