Yellow core. Evolving nicely on the nose with very attractive notes of oxidation. Med + intensity and complexity showing yellow plum, yellow flowers, nutmeg, thyme, oxidized pineapple and yellow apple. Med + acid with some phenolic bitterness. Med complexity with notes mimicking the nose. The alcohol is on the high side but this wine is very seductive. #sartarelli #verdicchiodeicastellidijesi #verdicchio #marche #italy #bianco #ctbucklinwine

Great texture and aromatics. Fennel, citrus, green almond, minerals, and some phenolics add complexity

Rich butterscotch on the nose with salty, briny olives on the palate. Rich, almost viscous mouthfeel with a long finish.

Herbaceous, with a touch of almond and grapefruit. Love the acidity here as it pairs well with the Branzino we had@with it.

Carmel Apple, citrus, subtle honeycomb, floral, wet rocks and peachy/apricot on the nose. Crushed rock, apple tart, little age(caramel), gardenias, white peach and fresh herbs on the palate. I'm a fan.

Full of wet minerality with a pithy citrus and underripe tropical/stone fruit aroma + distinct citronella. Pretty tightly wound initially. Citrus creme and slightly waxy, mouth coating palate w some phenolic bitterness + a bruleed sugar finish.

My first Castello di Jesi: mineral-forward, Meyer lemon, spicy herbs, wildflower honey, acid lower than expected but still lovely, phenolic bitterness on the palate, after 20+ mins a butterscotch aroma appeared
