Grande Reserve Santorini Assyrtiko

Huge depth on the nose, not at all overoaked. There is a nutty, savory, quite lovely oak effect. The palate is gorgeous - salinity with tangerine peel, a nice acidity and a lengthy finish. This shows that Assyrtiko rivals Roussanne as my favorite grape.

Once again, oak and reserve ruining what may have been a nice Assyrtiko.

Our first assyrtiko, clean and crisp, with some fizzle citrus note at the end. Very interesting texture in the mouth, maybe from the oak age? Would order again.

Not your mama’s Assyrtiko. Nuttier and creamier - from the oak aging - versus a typical Assyrtiko. There are some sharp citrus notes at the end - key lime.

Petrol and tropical aromas give way to honeyed pineapple, citrus blossom, vanilla, and guava fruit with a spice moved acid driven finish - excellent creamy texture with toned down acidity from the age this paired perfectly with grilled octopus over fava bean purée

Обожженый, еще новый, французский, похоже, дуб. Вкус яркий, цитрусы, масло, цветы, снова ваниль, жженка, дуб. Не знаю, по-моему, дуб тут убивает своеобразие вина.
