Santa Margherita introduced Pinot Grigio in 1980, and has become very popular. A dry white with nice stone fruit aromas. On the palate ripe apple, peach and lemon flavors, with a crisp edge. Medium finish, lively acidity ending clean with mineral notes. Can't go wrong with this one if PG is your style.

Nose of; bright lemon, big sense of dry cut grass and earthiness, candle wax and yellow florals. On the palate; lemon & lime juice, white peach, ripe pineapple, candle wax, dry cut grass, light presence of honey, limestone, gritty earth and minerals, oily body, big acidity and a decent finish. Bought this to make my Veal Bolognese. Photos of one of their vineyards, barrel room, Pinot Gris grapes and those vineyard field hands that work so hard all season and then some.
