This is probably the best bottle of his red I've had yet. No compelling ripeness but much better balance. Mostly, it didn't seem shrill with tart fruits.

The herbal floral aroma on this wine alone put me in my happy place. The palate evolved nicely over two nights with more earth and minerality showing on night two.

One of the best bottles of domestic Syrah I’ve had in some time. Beautiful savory peppery quality. Bright and everything I love about Syrah. Would love to compare this next to Alain Graillot and may do so next round.

Nice night for an evening of Syrah study. Dr. Passalacqua comes with cool, wet rocks and dark, mouthwatering fruits. Delicious.
