Nice Cali Chard with Daniel.
Apricot, honey, liquorice, almonds, oak, cress and a light Brett. Nice acidity with balanced oak. First impression is a bit mean but gets better with time. Cassis & bread, overripe lemon palate which made me think of SB. Rose apple, papaya seeds and overripe lemon aftertaste.
Had the last glass after dinner: now strong buttery popcorn nose.

Bright gold color of medium hue. Classic California Chard nose, giving off chestnut and leechee aromas. Bright presentation on the palate, quite champagne like, followed by explosive, bright acidity, very broad and delicious. Finish is herbaceous, showing dill, parsley, obvious spearmint, and cilantro flavors. Also very evident mineral character of calcaceous rock. Very brilliant; all in a medium body. Endless calcaceous finish. 91 pts.
